Come see one of the largest pieces of mining equipment in the world. During its heyday it could move millions of tons of earth each day! You can stand inside the original drag line excavation bucket, which is the equivalent size of a 12-car garage! You won't want to miss this important piece of history.

The museum is housed in a historic building once part of the original stockade built to protect settlers during the Ohio Indian Wars or 1790 -94. Pieces of the stockade have been spread throughout town and were used in the building of several additional houses. There a lot to explore in this interesting building!

Known as the Great Mound or Conus, Mound Cemetery is an ancient burial site that was constructed between 100BC and 500AD. The mound is thought to be created by people of the Hopewell culture. Don't miss out on visiting this ancient historical site!
